Prior to establishing the company, Adaptik's founders studied the insurance industry and the shortcomings of existing systems for over a decade as they provided policy administration software and consulting services to some of the largest and best-respected insurers such as Chubb, Travelers, and Samsung Fire & Marine.

Adaptik's unique and innovative approach has evolved through this period of learning and experience in the field. Having learned that policy administration business requirements evolve continuously over time, Adaptik's founders became convinced that there was a great need for a new breed of software and a complementary approach to deliver solutions at a dramatically faster speed. And, they realized that this new breed of system must also be easily and quickly alterable to keep up with the pace of business.
